From Snyder native and Baylor coaching legend, Grant Teaff on the importance of coming together as a team: “We’re all stronger when we come together as a team. A community is a team that is working because they care about each other. Three keys to achieving success in life are: First, a positive attitude, positive expectations…you have to believe you can win. The second key is that the team members must be willing to give a total effort. Success doesn’t come to teams that make a half-hearted effort. A good leader figures out how to motivate his/her team to buy into a goal and give a maximum effort to get there. And the third is: don’t beat yourself up. It’s easy to let distractions keep us from completing a task. By focusing on the goal, and setting distractions aside, we give ourselves a better chance of succeeding.” (Taken from quotes spoken by Grant Teaff at the United Way Kick-Off Luncheon, 2015) From the bottom of our hearts and to the glory of God: thank you for serving!
